Fishing rod and reel roof rack fits most vehicles with or without existing roof racks.

Complete foam block roofrack for fishing poles and reels includes everything needed to transport and store up to five rods and reels (depending upon reel size, you may be only able to transport three rod and reel combos).

Like the other products in our line of premium foam block rooftop carriers, the Rod Rack In a Sack™ roof top carrier strap assembly is designed for vehicles that do not have existing roof racks, but the fishing rod roof rack also fits most existing roof rack bars (greater than 30" in width) for maximum protection of fishing rods, reels, and automobiles.  The Rod Rack In a Sack™ has five sets of fishing rod slots to fit all rods with straight butt ends ranging from freshwater to saltwater spinning, trolling, bait casting, stand-up, and fly-fishing outfits.  Two straps measuring 12 feet in length are each passed through a door or window of the car and adjusted inside the automobile with a pair of Load Lock FASTeners® using our patent pending low profile system and dual fastener design for minimum noise and maximum interior adjustment, which can also be used to mount the roof rack to existing roof rack bars for a quiet ride (see photo below).  One large foam block measuring 4.5" x 16.5" x 11" fits the butt end of any straight fishing rod and a reel.  Another foam block measuring 4.5" x 4" x 16.5" has slots to fit any rod tip.  Both are secured by the complete strap assemblies that are included with the foam roof rack for safe and secure transport of most fishing poles.  Unlike competing foam roof racks, our unique Low-Profile Strap Design is not only far more quiet and secure, but also much less likely to damage roof tops because the force is more evenly distributed along the bottom of the foams.  The Rod Rack In a Sack™ is designed to provide rust-free and scratch-free operation for years and comes furnished in its own nylon mesh bag for convenient storage when not in use.  It is great for protecting rods during quick jumps between fishing hotspots, longer trips to the fishing grounds, or for weekend getaways to the beach.
