The Base Plate can be mounted on any wall or ceiling for the storage of any brand of scooter without scratching the secured scooter and can be mounted above a child's reach to deter unsupervised use of scooters. 5/16 " Masonry Drill Bit (not included) may be required for some installations (into brick, stone, or concrete walls). To keep scooters away from walls during storage and for maximum strength and security and ease of installation, we recommend first mounting a 2x4 (not included) securely to the framing in the wall or ceiling and attaching the Base Plates to the 2x4 with the included screws.
